$17.50 for regular classes.
$10.00 for an additional entry of same dog
$10.00 for regular class and puppy and veteran sweeps

Veterans
Class
We are offering Veterans Classes this year in both the Regular Show and
Veterans Sweeps. The Sweeps is divided from over 7 years of age
up to 9 years of age and over 9 years of age. In the regular classes,
veterans is not divided. Our puppy sweeps goes up to 24 months of
age, so that more young Akitas can participate. Professional handlers
may only show dogs they own or co own.
Catalog Ads
Catalog ads are being accepted up to February 2, 2001. Pricing for an
ad is as follows: $35 for a full page, $25 for a half page and $15
for a 1/4 page. A picture is $10 additional. All ads will
be in black and white and should be sent camera ready to Pam Byrne 2211
Bron Holly Drive, Houston, TX 77018 or byrnecrest@aol.com .
Please indicate with your order that you are a past winner so we can ensure
you are in the correct section!

Akita Rescue
Raffle
The Lone Star Akita Club will be hosting a raffle in conjunction with
the Specialty show. The Raffle is to raise funds for Akita Rescue.
The Akitas
we take in are often in need of shots, nuetering and other medical treatments
as well as quality food and shelter while we match them up with the best
possible home.
The Raffle will begin February 23 and the drawing will take place at noon on Sunday February 25th in conjunction with the Cypress Creek show. All three days will be at Houston Farm and Ranch (see address information above). Tickets will be $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
Items to be raffled will include but not be limited to: Raffle Items
Banquet
We are still in the process of planning for the banquet after the show.
As soon as we finalize our plans, we will add them to the web site.
Cypress Creek
Show
We also have a supported entry and Sweepstakes at the Sunday, Cypress
Creek show. The regular judge is Paulette DeLong and the puppy Sweepstakes
judge is Mr. Garry Newton. There is no veteran sweepstakes that
day but the Cypress Creek show is having a non-regular veterans class,
where the winner goes to the veterans groups.
We hope to see
everyone at our 2nd annual Specialty!!!
